Nine IASA members have been submitting their
electricity costs so that a comparison can be made from last year
to this year, as shown below. For the first 4 months of 2001,
costs are up 73% over last year, even with the 3.6 cent/kWh
rebate and even though some members have shifted production to
night shift. Without the 3.6 cent rebate, costs would be up
137% over last year.
